Our chairman, Dr. Xue Ruiteng attended “The 2nd Yunnan-South & Southeast Asia Education Exchange and Cooperation Forum”

The 2nd Yunnan-South & Southeast Asia Education Exchange and Cooperation Forum was held in Kunming. Relevant experts and scholars from 68 universities in the province and 31 countries including Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Bangladesh, Italy and Australia assembled and met at the forum for the discussion of cooperative development. 

With the theme of "Mutual Trust, Common Development", the main forum set up “Yunnan – South and Southeast Asian University Presidents Sub-Forum”, “Yunnan – Thailand Vocational Education Cooperation Sub-forum”, “Yunnan-Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Education Cooperation Sub-forum”, “Yunnan- Italy Higher Education Cooperation Sub-forum”, “Sub-Forum on Chinese Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in Yunnan Province”, “Sub-forum on Yunnan - South Asia and Southeast Asia Tourism Vocational Education  Personnel Training Exchange and Cooperation” and other forums. The “One-to-One” project is formed among the schools in Yunnan province and foreign schools and the South Asia and Southeast Asia University Student Friendly Sports is promoted to enhance cultural exchanges through discussion and sportsmanship in the game. 

In addition, the Yunnan Opening Up Education Achievement Exhibition was also held on the opening day of the forum to publicize and display the accomplishments of Yunnan opening up education since the implementation of reform and opening. 
 

At the opening ceremony, our chairman, Dr. Xue Ruiteng was invited by Yunnan Province to represent City University Malaysia to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on education cooperation with Yunnan Economics Trade and Foreign Affairs College. At the same time, Dr. Xue Ruiteng also had a cordial meeting with Dr. Pathamarat Nakanitanon, Vice President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and Dr.Chaiyapattarasurawong Wongla, Director of International Affairs of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, and we looked forward to having collaborations in near future.
